FBOA AGM – Saturday October 19th – 10am – 12 noon
FBOA 2025 Renewals – NOW OPEN!!!!

This is a reminder that the 2024 AGM of the FBOA will take place on Saturday 19th October by zoom at 10am. Please note the following:

• The zoom link for the meeting is as follows: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/4279204865
• The meeting will commence at 10am with the zoom room open from 09:30
• There is no need to send apologies as attendance will be recorded at the meeting
• The agenda will include Michaela McDonald (see below) as well as the usual FBOA business including updates on insurances, service charges and audits
• The meeting will be recorded and key points sent out afterwards as well as a link to watch the recording (please note only brief notes will be circulated – you will need to attend / watch the recording for a full record of the meeting)
• You will need to provide your plot number when you attend
• Only paid up members for 2024 will be admitted

Michaela will focus on ongoing updates as well as answering questions from the membership. Please do not send questions to Michaela or the FBOA in advance of the AGM and therefore if you wish to ask Michaela a question you will need to do this in the meeting and not prior to the meeting.

Renewal of Membership – NOW OPEN
As always at this time of year, we start the renewal process for the next year and this year we are giving you advance notice.

The FBOA membership year runs from October 1st 2024 – December 31st 2025. To remain a member (including membership of the FBOA Facebook group, the mailing list and other benefits) you will need to have renewed by December 31st 2024 so we advise renewing ASAP.

Please remember for renewals:

• If you own more than one property you need to pay and be a member for all the properties you own
• The cost is only £10 for 2025
• Each plot gets one voting right in any votes
• If you have already renewed you will still be receiving this email so dont worry – you dont have to do anything!

As we move into 2025 and with the issues being reported in 2024, it is vital that as owners we are united and one voice. To remain legally recognised for the essential audit of the service charge we need 50% of the eligible owners every year to be members. Please ensure you renew your membership and encourage others to join!
