We were made aware by Colin personally earlier this week that he has left The Bay with immediate effect. He asked that this news wasn’t shared until Away made it public which they now clearly have (i.e. if you send an email to Colin it will be bounced back / Away staff are saying he has left).
We are actively seeking an update in terms of his replacement but for now, Colin has left the business and we have wished him well on behalf of all owners and the Association will send him a farewell gift.
In the interim, Away’s senior management have put in place Stacey Taylor – GM at Barmouth Bay Holiday Park in North Wales to support the Bay We (The FBOA) will be in touch with Stacey and welcome her.
Away have also said they will update us once a permanent GM has been appointed.
