Notes from today’s meeting (22/07/24) betweem new GM Michaela and FBOA

1. Grounds – grass / hedges / weeds / boules court maintenance / bin store cleaning / maintenance etc 
Spraying will take place in the next 3-4 weeks – 4am early morning – full comms will take place  so no pets etc will be affected – this to follow in due course and well in advance of any spraying.
Other grounds improvement to be made on a rolling programme – Michaela to update at the meeting mentioned below.

2. Grounds – pavements – dropped kerbs / uneven & dipped flags plus pest control 
Pest control – new contact is in place for the whole village
Dropped kerbs – an audit of these requirement will take place
Uneven surfaces – looking at these throughout the village

3. Sleepers – history and future prevention of accidents 
Audit of all sleepers being undertaken – these will be ragged with a view to a full project to either make safe / replace or whatever is needed following the audit

4. Window cleaning – update
New rota in place and improvements noted

5. External render and cleaning of paths 
Patio and paths to properties – responsibility of owner and to arrange themselves
Communal paths  – Michaela has agreed to look at

6. Roof issues – updates 
All logged jobs  are now getting roofers to quote – individual communication to affected owners will take place

7. Tv system and street lighting 
Street lighting will be repaired around the 30th July
TV system – for next meeting

8. Away resorts pricing models (winter) and groups 
To be revisited at the next meeting

9. Pool, boiler issues, standards, opening times
Temporary repair has failed. Therefore, the permanent repair is being done at the moment. The pool in the leisure centre at Flowers of May Holiday Park in Lebberston Cliff will be open to owners and guests until it is repaired. TheyThe bay management are optimistic for the permanent repair to be complete and to reopen by Saturday 27th July. As soon as a date is known we will communicate this to all owners. Meanwhile, the Flowers of May pool opening times are:
Monday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm
Tuesday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm
Wednesday: 10am – 1pm, 4pm – 6pm
Thursday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm

10. VAT on statements
Further requests for VAT to show on owner payments and statements – more info to follow on this – FBOA pushed for this to be actioned ASAP

12. Fire safety – update from last meeting
Full audit is being undertaken

13. Confirmed date for Zoom FBOA call

The Away / FBOA meeting will take place on Wednesday 14th August at 6:30pm
